All About FundList

Nineteen Years of Sharing: 1992-2011

Posting A Message On FundList

If you have already subscribed to FundList, you can send your question or message to 2,000+ fellow subscribers. To have an e-mail message distributed to the FundList, send it to:

fundlist@lists.johnshopkins.edu

NOTE:
Simply hitting the Reply button after you receive a FUNDLIST message will send your reply to the entire list. If you only want to reply to the sender, address a new SEND message instead of a REPLY message.

CHANGING TO/FROM DIGEST FORMAT

Subscribers to Fundlist have the option of receiving all of the day's messages in a single summary e-mail.

To get FUNDLIST in digest format, send a message from your subscribed email address to
sympa@lists.johnshopkins.edu that says:

SET FUNDLIST DIGEST in the text of the message (not the subject line).

You will receive one message per day from FUNDLIST containing a summary of the headers of that day's messages plus the text of those messages.

To resume regular mail delivery of each message as posted, send a message to
sympa@lists.johnshopkins.edu that says:

SET FUNDLIST MAIL

You will receive a digest containing messages to that point, and then regular message delivery will resume.

POSTPONE FUNDLIST MESSAGES

If you go on vacation or otherwise want to temporarily stop receiving FundList messages.

To postpone FUNDLIST messages, send a message from your subscribed email address to
sympa@lists.johnshopkins.edu that says:

SET FUNDLIST NOMAIL in the text of the message (not the subject line).

To resume regular mail delivery of each message as posted, send a message to sympa@lists.johnshopkins.edu that says:

SET FUNDLIST MAIL
